Twin girl headboard re-make

And here's how cute it turned out!

I decided to fill in the indented portion of it with a beautiful tufted insert.  This fabric is the same fabric in my daughter's room now.  So when she is ready for a twin, this cute thing will be waiting for her!

First I distressed the wood by beating it with a chain, skidding it with my jig saw, and making holes.  Then I painted and glazed it brown.  I bought button covers and attached them on to make complete the tufted look.
