This is a wall texture and glaze treatment that takes lots of time but that looks awesome when you are done.
You start out with a bare wall and using a puddy knife, wipe joint compound all over the walls. You can make it as thick of thin as you want. I did this bathroom extra thick and with lots of texture.
After adding the texture you use a plastic stencil to create the gorgeous print you see here. Then you paint the walls the color you want to be underneath the glaze. This color was a beautiful milky white.
Then you choose your glaze color and paint that on over the dried paint. Almost immediately you start wiping it off with a wet rag to reveal the color underneath.
This picture has a lot of yellow in it, but it shows the texture well. This is a great way to make an ordinary bathroom into a beautiful bathroom.
